Coronary heart disease is the narrowing of small blood vessels that supply blood and oxygen to the heart. Coronary heart disease is also called coronary artery disease. Coronary heart disease is usually caused by a condition called atherosclerosis, which occurs when fatty material and other substances form plaques on artery walls. This causes the arteries to become narrow the blood flowed. Because the flow in the coronary arteries narrow, blood to the heart become slow and even stop. - Magnetic resonance angiography
